Frank L. Greitzer, PhD, is owner and Principal Scientist of PsyberAnalytix, which performs consulting in applied cognitive and behavioral systems engineering and analysis. Dr. Greitzer previously served as a Chief Scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. His research in human-information analysis, human decision making, cognitive-based active learning approaches, and system effectiveness evaluation methods has aimed to meet human factors challenges in military, intelligence, and aerospace applications. Dr. Greitzer has a Master’s in Psychology and a PhD in Mathematical Psychology with specialization in memory and cognition. He has published over 100 scientific papers in diverse research areas of cybersecurity, intelligence/information analysis and decision making, and training.
Eric Shaw, PhD, is the founder and CEO of IRG. He is a clinical psychologist and former intelligence officer who has spent the last 25 years performing consultations, training, assisting in investigations and conducting research on insider issues while helping organizations manage insider risk. Dr. Shaw has served as a Visiting Scientist at the Carnegie Mellon’s Software Engineering Institute where he assisted CERT in understanding the individual, social and organizational psychology associated with insider risk and computer crime. His writings on insider challenges — including his original design of the Critical Pathway to Insider Risk - and the role of behavioral science and profiling in forensic and security issues have appeared in Studies in Intelligence, Digital Investigation, Journal of Digital Forensics, and many other publications.
David Sanders is Director of Insider Threat Operations at Haystax, a business unit of Fishtech Group. Previously, he designed and managed the insider threat program at Harris Corporation, now L3Harris Technologies. Dave also served on the U.S. government’s National Insider Threat Task Force (NITTF).
